We researched many Bernedoodle breeders all over the US and Canada, and are very pleased with our decision to adopt a puppy from Highfalutin Furry Babies. We were looking for a small breeder with focus and experience, genetic tested parents, and of course beautiful puppies. I loved that these pups were raised in the home, complete with the chaos of little kids and cats and vacuum cleaners! With four young kids, our house can be exciting and overwhelming, and we wanted to make sure that our new family member was set up to succeed.
Alicia really loves and knows her pups. After learning about us, she matched us with a puppy and was able to give us such an accurate description of her personality that we felt like we were meeting an old friend the first time we held our puppy Faema! We really appreciate how incredibly responsive and patient Alicia has been with the questions we pelt at her at all hours of the day and night, from the first time we spoke and still today, three months after bringing Faema home. Even though Alicia sent beautiful weekly pictures and updates, we stalked her on Facebook to see the day to day action. When buying a puppy, we really weren’t expecting to meet a smart woman with a heart of gold that we’d want to be part of our family for a long, long time, but we did.
When we got our puppy Faema home, my respect for Alicia grew. Faema wasn’t timid or scared of anything – it was like she has always been there. In addition, Faema knew how to sit patiently and wait to be told that she could eat instead of guarding or rushing in. She already knew how to “sit”. When she needs a bath, she sits patiently in the bathtub as long as needed without shaking or trying to escape. Faema has never bitten anyone or chewed anything inappropriate, and only took a week to potty train. We had a great new puppy transition experience because Alicia spent the time to lovingly train Faema and give her a great start.
Faema is a gorgeous Bernedoodle. She has perfect coat, color, and markings. Her confirmation and bite are flawless. She has had no digestive, or other common puppy issues. She was bred well, received impeccable care, and came with full and accurate documentation. Our vet said that she rarely sees puppies like this, and that we must have a great breeder. We agree.
If you are looking for a great puppy, you should definitely wait for one from High Falutin Furry Babies. It’s totally worth it.
